The Fungus Conservation Trust provides a range of not-for-profit resources designed to cater to the needs of amateur field mycologists. 'Amateur' is probably a misleading term because there are virtually no professional field mycologists in the UK. Most people who follow the interest are amateurs, either self-taught or having learned from another amateur forayer.
